Securomesh APEX high-security fence running to the horizon

    Flagship high-security perimeter system

    Securomesh APEX

Securomesh APEX high-security fence: Engineered for sites that cannot afford a breach.

APEX is the highest-security perimeter system we manufacture: a reinforced steel frame and 358 high-security mesh in one heavy, rigid panel, with the option of Securomesh Fortified Infill inside every vertical.

    Inside APEX FORTIFIED

A cut-resistant core in every vertical

Securomesh Fortified Infill is a proprietary infill, specifically developed for APEX. It sits inside each steel vertical, out of sight and out of reach.

When a grinder disc or saw blade reaches the core, its cutting edge is blunted. A quick cut becomes a slow, noisy job, and that delay is what gives your response team time to act.

In independent testing, an industrial diamond-blade grinder took over 100 minutes to cut a 200 × 200 mm opening through APEX FORTIFIED. A reciprocating saw could not penetrate it.

    Fortify-ready

Start with APEX and add the infill to the installed fence at any time, without replacing panels.

    Questions

    Frequently asked questions

Can APEX be cut or climbed?

No barrier is impossible to defeat with enough time and tools. APEX is engineered to make climbing, cutting and tampering extremely difficult and slow. In an independent attack test, APEX FORTIFIED took over 100 minutes to breach with an industrial diamond-blade angle grinder, which is time your security response can use.

What is the difference between APEX and APEX FORTIFIED?

APEX is our heaviest reinforced steel and 358 high-security mesh barrier. APEX FORTIFIED adds Securomesh Fortified Infill inside every vertical: a proprietary cut-resistant core that blunts grinder discs and saw blades.

Can I upgrade APEX to APEX FORTIFIED later?

Yes. APEX is fortify-ready, so the infill can be added to an installed fence at any time. You can upgrade in a later budget cycle without replacing panels.

    How heavy are APEX panels?

About 180 kg per panel, or roughly 250 kg with Fortified Infill, depending on height. Together with concealed security fixings, that makes panel theft impractical.

What heights and finishes are available?

Panels are made from 1.8 m to 4.0 m high and 2.5 to 3.0 m wide. Every panel is HD galvanised and then thermoplastic coated (400–650 µm) for a long, low-maintenance life.

Can APEX be combined with electric fencing or alarms?

Yes. Options include electric fencing, a wireless sensor alarm, spike or razor topping and a 500 mm HD galvanised underdig.

    Where is APEX made?

APEX is designed, manufactured and installed by Securomesh in South Africa.
